It’s been an odd year that I’m not entirely sad to let go of.
I am spending Christmas day with family. It won’t be fancy, but it will probably be loud.
I have a string of glowing TARDIS lights on my tree thanks to my lovely mountain friends.
I also saw this on Christmas eve, and it’s not really Christmasy but I loved it. I’m only sharing something inspirational because it’s goddamn Christmas and I’m filled with Christmas spirit. Christmas spirit feels itchy.
I hope you are peaceful.
I hope you have pie. Or if you have no pie, you can get pie. Although nothing is open today. You might have to steal it. You can blame me if you get caught.
I love you guys. I even mean that.
Merry Christmas to you & yours Michelle. I hope this long weekend gives you a chance to recharge. Wishing you all the best for the new year ahead! (Ugh, you’re right…itchy!) 🙂
Thank you! Let’s bring on 2015!
Merry Christmas, Michelle! Or as Frank Costanza would say, Serenity Now!
Serenity now to you, too!!
Enjoy the holiday of your choice! (I got my husband a TARDIS shower curtain.)
Oh god!! That sounds amazing! I got my niece a 10th doctor badge. She’ll love it.
Merry Christmas, Michelle.
I didn’t love 2014, either. But I did get to meet YOU. And you are awesome.
Much love,
S
Aww..thank you, gorgeous. 🙂 I am so happy to have met you, too! Merry Christmas!
Have a very Merry Christmas!
You too!!!
Don’t worry! I’ve got three pies ready to go — four if you count the Biscoff cheesecake that we’ve already nearly demolished. I’m all about the pie (well, let’s be honest — I’m all about food in general). Have a great Christmas, my friend!
That sounds amazing. I’m going to make chocolate covered pretzels for my older boy…
XXXXOOOO
Awww….thank you Michelle. I have close to zero Christmas spirit–at least I’m not itching. I don’t have many good things to say about 2014 either, but I’m so glad to have met and been included in this group of online friends. Thanks for reaching out on Christmas day–you rock!
It’s an incredible tribe! Merry Christmas to you…
Walgreens is open! Not sure they have pie though . . . Merry Christmas, lady!!
Probably at least those little fry pies. But that’s kind of sad at Christmas. Unless you put a bow on them.
That’s the Christmas spirit! 😉
I love that message about DNA. It’s the truth. Merry Christmas, Michelle! We’re having Apple Pie (my favorite).
Ohhh…i love apple pie. I hope there’s pie at my sister’s house.
Im not sure I’ll have pie, have to remember that for next year when Im corrupting the international students I work with…hahaha Merry Christmas from my tribe to yours.
I hear pie works great for corrupting international students!
I did get some pie. It was pizza pie, bot that’s my favorite kind. Hope you have fun today, and an incredible 2015.
Pizza totally counts! And I hope the best next year for you too!
We don’t do pie at Christmas in Australia. We do pudding with brandy sauce. It was delicious… I use my great grandmother’s recipe..
For me there was an added bonus coz I got to cuddle my 10 day old great nephew while his slept for hours. I pretended I was giving his gorgeous mum a break but really I was drinking in his calm soul-restoring beauty….and I had champagne at the same time …. Perfection plus a bit! Thanks for being you. XX
Oh lovely! Babies are the best. I cuddled with my son’s little dog and that was nice…I mean, not like a new born or anything, but you take what you can get, right?
Thank you so much! I hope you had a wonderful holiday
Merry Christmas to you too! I’ve had bacon, champagne (in gulps, not sips), and a nap. So I’m feeling as spirit-filled as I’ll likely get. Enjoy the rest of your day. xoxo
Nice! I had a drama free day and stuffed myself….Now I’m ready to lay in bed and go comatose
I had a bloody great Christmas got a little tipsy but that was ok wasn’t driving
A little tipsy is always good
Glad you’ve had a good day! That meme is so true, I guess that’s why it’s just me and the cat today ha ha ha ha!
But seriously…..Merry Christmas to you, Randy and the family, big love from across the pond! xx
Thank you! It was a lovely day.
Christmas is about pie and loving people. Even those whose DNA has been who knows where and who cares!? May 2015 be filled with minimal anxiety and fun computer programming.
Thank you!!! Minimal anxiety would be the most awesome thing ever.
ah yes, we had pie, two of them in fact, but I opted for the butter tart with whipped cream. sigh.
Tryptophan is kicking in.
Merry Christmas, to you, and Randy and those kids of yours, and I hope you had pie, and it wasn’t too loud.
And 2015 is gonna be a good one, I just feel it in my almost 60 year old bones.
I am going to trust your bones…
Onwards and Upwards, my friend 🙂
Maybe there’s a brandy-butter-flavoured cream to go with that itch? 😉
Haha…that’s all I need..to put flavored cream on me anywhere…I’d have to get a shock collar for Randy.
Itchy indeed! Sweet and funny message — just the way I like them. Merry Christmas to you too!
Thank you!!
I made a peanut butter pie…basically peanut butter, confectioner’s sugar, cream cheese…then you fold in whipped cream and pour into a graham cracker pie shell. I only had 1/2 a cup of peanut butter when I needed 3/4…substituted some whipped chocolate/peanut butter spread Jeff had bought but I wasn’t really wild about on toast (Jif’s answer to Nutella, more or less) for that last 1/4 cup and then spotted some Heath Bar crumbles that didn’t get used in some cookies and folded those in as well.
I could sell this shit on the street corner like crack and make a fortune.
Well, except Jeff & I ate it all.
Fucking hell….that sounds amazing.
You are the best! Miss the chats but I get to be with you right here. The New Year will be great for you. New challenges but nothing that you can’t knock down and rise to success. (Why when I write the word SUCCESS a cheerleader comes to mind?) Thanks for your written word. I look forward to the next.
Thank you!! and I won’t be wearing any cheer leading outfits. I could use some pom poms though.
Well, I didn’t have pie but we DID have baked French toast, scrambled eggs & good ‘ol bacon… Hope you enjoyed your Christmas. I love the Tardis lights. 🙂
